Rescale Receives 2017 HPCwire Readers' Choice Award for Best Use of HPC in the Cloud

Denver, Colorado  — November 14, 2017 — Rescale, the provider of HPC in the cloud, has been recognized in the annual HPCwire Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards with the following honor: Readers’ Choice, Best Use of HPC in the Cloud. The award highlights aerospace startup Boom Supersonic for using Rescale’s ScaleX® cloud HPC platform and NASA simulation tools to design a supersonic passenger jet that is 30% more efficient than Concorde with limited capital. The award was presented at the 2017 International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis (SC17) in Denver, Colorado.  

The coveted annual HPCwire Readers’ Choice Awards are determined through a nomination and voting process with the global HPCwire community. The awards are an annual feature of the publication and constitute prestigious recognition from the HPC community. These awards are revealed each year to kick off the annual supercomputing conference, which showcases high performance computing, networking, storage, and data analysis.
