In the world of high performance computing, the progression has been drastic, from the first supercomputers that were used strictly for nuclear development, to today’s machines that play a role in everything from our medications, cars, airplanes, and alternative energy. So we decided to put that progression into perspective, so you can see where we have been and imagine where we will go next. This is the evolution of the supercomputer!
